The fourth Gaidar Forum, entitled Russia and the World: Challenges of Integration, was held to discuss the issues of Russia’s economic integration into the global trade, improvement of business climate and the prospects of Russian companies on the global market. The Forum was visited by more than 3,500 people and more than 250 experts from 38 countries worldwide and, among other, by Dmitry Medvedev, Chair of the Russian Government; members of the Russian Government, heads of Russian regions, leading Russian and foreign economists, and prominent cultural workers, namely, Mikhail Shvydkoi, President of Academy of Russian Television Foundation and Russian Presidential Assignee for International Cultural Affairs; Gennadii Khazanov, art director and Head of the Moscow State Variety Theater.
