Dmitry Samartsev — Chief Executive Officer, BI.ZONE
Dmitry is the head of BI.ZONE, an expert in digital risks management, that helps
organisations around the world to develop their business safely in the digital age.
Under Dmitry’s leadership, the company produces high-tech solutions to protect IT
infrastructures and applications; offers a wide range of services from security assessment
to cybercrime investigation; develops and implements cybersecurity outsourcing solutions
for businesses of all sizes. Being a strategic partner of multiple global organisations
such as INTERPOL, SWIFT, FIRST, CREST and others, BI.ZONE plays an active role
in combatting international cybercrime.
Dmitry is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Centre for Cybersecurity and Global
Future Council on Cybersecurity. He is also a member on the Global Advisory Board
on digital threats during conflict that was established by the International Committee
of the Red Cross.
Previously, Dmitry founded Treatface, a company that developed and supplied advanced
products and solutions for Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), monitoring, diagnostics
and protection of telecom networks and hardware.
Before his own venture, Dmitry Samartsev was Vice President for Technology
Development at INLINE Technologies, a versatile IT integrator that specialises
in developing and implementing comprehensive solutions for business task automation.
The company is now one of the leaders in system and business integration in Russia.
Every year, Dmitry takes part in the executive management programmes
at Stanford University. He holds a master’s degree in Information Technology
from the Moscow State Technological University ‘STANKIN’. He also graduated
from the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry with a degree in Economics
(World Economy Department).
